Christmas Birdhouse

 Lizzie Jones Lizzie has a fun video up and a beautiful
 card using this technique.

Merry Monday #219 {Birds}
Hello! Hope you all had a nice weekend!
We took a drive up to the mountains to see the fall colors.
It was beautiful! We were blessed with a storm and lots of rain here in CA.

 I blended the background  with an old brush and a mix of spring rain inkers.
 My first two attempts were way too dark.

I always knew I was going to mix these two sets (Winter Village and Post & Parcel)
and create a birdhouse .

Thank You!

Winter Village Stamp Set
Papertrey Ink - Winter Village Die
Make It Market Kit: Post & Parcel
 Take A Bough Concord & 9th ( tree in the background)
Hobby Lobby Masters Touch watercolor paper.
Martha Stewart Glitter

Thank You!

  9. You smarty-pants, Marybeth. I love that you used the two sets to make the birdhouse. As always, your card hits all the notes, tried and true. Your background is absolutely perfect in intensity. If only my sensibilities were as well honed as yours, I'd be a card making superstar too. Thanks for sharing this beauty.
